Problem: I need to find Mother's Day gifts for my mom and m-i-l. Both have everything they need. My mom loves elegant handiwork, quilting but isn't able to do much in that regard due to poor eyesight, aging.
She likes peach, rose and seafoam green colors. My m-i-l doesn't have any hobbies, but loves cats. Her favorite colors are red or blue.

My solution: I would love to buy gifts for my moms from my farmgirl sisters. If you have something for sale that they may enjoy, please post a link to that item or e-mail me. My budget is $35.00 or less per mom.

Thanks everyone
Judy

My mom has everything she needs already, so I just bought her a subscription to all her favorite magazines (the gift that gives all year). She Loves it and looks forward every month for her new issues to arrive.

Dried herbs in pretty glass bottles (if you grow an herb garden), along with a recipe book on what to use them with.

Monica,

You know, that is a good idea. My mom probably would like the MJF magazine.

Thanks for sharing.

Mother's Day gift suggestion: A basket with a MaryJane's Farm Magazine and a pretty tea cup with something from your treasure trove of gifts or something you found on here!

Nancy, I always want plants, too. In years past we always got the m-i-l ones to hang on her front porch. As fate would have it, they are redoing their entire deck and so she won't have a place to hang them this year. My mom doesn't have a place to put one, although she loves plants. Shucky darns!

Sharon, yes I love to sew, but I've made both of them many things. They really don't have room or need anything else. I've also done a photo album for my mom recently. However, I might be able to do something along that line for my m-i-l. Gotta think about that one.

The donation, candle or the scentsy might work for my mom, although I don't know where she would put a candle. She doesn't have room for anything anymore. Is the scenty like a sachet?

Judy,

~Do you quilt or do any handwork? Maybe you could make a pillow or sampler for each mom in the colors that they like. I would love a gift like that :)

~A scrapbook or photo collage. Maybe even photos trnasferred to fabric and make a pillow, etc.

~Candles are always nice too!

Maybe a donation in their names to their favorite Charity?
