Posted - Jan 18 2010 : 7:06:15 PM I have a pair of beautiful ice skates that my farmgirl cousin, Windy Pines, gave me for Christmas last year on my front door. I also put up snowmen and snowflakes in the house. I just put up my Valentine's decorations and will replace those with my St. Patrick's Day ones after that. Before I know it, the Nowrooz (Persian New Year) ones are up and then it is Easter! So I guess I decorate from September till April! Then nothing until 4th of July.

Posted - Jan 15 2010 : 07:17:53 AM I have a snowman in my room, and a mitten spoonrest on the stove-I'll have to collect more "winter" theme stuff for the house-kinda fun as usually when the decorations come down the winter stuff goes too. But there's still a lot of the winter season left in Jan,so don;t want to cut it short.
