Like everyone else I am broke as heck but my family is coming here for Christmas and I wanted more of a magical snow feel. Of course I had to use what I had on hand ... so what do you think of the snow flakes?

I put the snowflakes on fine silver thread and used them like garland around the living room..

A few more.. I like them especially for copy paper and a pair of scissors...

Behind my tree I have these two ugly mirrors so I put snow flakes on them as if it was snowing...

Jinia - yours are beautiful! If you would see mine without a template... you would think I had the preschoolers do them for me.

Thanks for checking out my silliness! I had fun doing it!

Deb if I had half a brain I would have thought to find a template! I couldn't even remember how to make a regular snowflake. Took me forever to remind myself and then to come up with these....

We've been printing out snowflake patterns and cutting them out at our house. I never thought of stringing them like that. So pretty! Thanks for the idea.

Great Idea! Your snowflakes are beautiful and sure do add some very extra pretty to your tree. Thanks for sharing with us!

Jess

their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

Your tree looks magical surrounded by the snowflakes! A little ingenuity and effort can go a long way.
