I may be repeating a former thread here, but just wanted to share.....the other night we exchanged gifts with my daughter and her family, because we were all going in different directions for Christmas. I opened my box from my daughter to find a beautiful neck scarf with fringe, in shades of soft green and blue. I loved it, and then adored it when she said she had learned to knit and gave me her first product! She has a toddler, is pregnant again, has a busy life with a pastor husband, and still hand knit me a scarf for Christmas, and furthermore, it is beautiful. I have hardly taken it off, in this cold trip we are on, and it is going to be one of my favorite gifts ever.

Then to top it all off, my hubby gave me tickets to go see Arlo Guthrie in February. He will be here in concert to do his Alice's Restaurant tour.

Had to share a little! So good to communicate even when not at home looking at my computer. This one at the hotel sure moves a LOT faster than my old dinosaur!

Love all of you!

What a wonderful gift. I know you will cherish that scarf for a long time. I still have ornaments on my tree that my children made in when they were 5yrs old (now in their 20's). I love homemade things from my kids.

Arlo Guthrie is great in concert, I hear. His daughter is talented also and sometimes goes with him. She does alot with Willie Nelsons daughter in my area here, in the bershires of Western Massachusetts, where the original Alices restaurant is.
