Jami, those are some great gift ideas for the men folk in our lives.

We don't have sheep/cattle but that baby monitor/camera is a very good idea to have. Would work good in the goat and horse barn to : ).

Thanks

There's a great new BBQ cookbook from the BBQ University guy on PBS.

Small metal toolbox to haul a few tools around while working on equipment around the farm.

Wind-up/emergency radio and/or flashlight for emergencies or use while camping (it has a weather channel and my DH loves that.)

A personalized flask for hunting trips.

Set of radio/ear protectors for use on the tractor (we don't have a cab on ours.)

Work gloves...never have enough of those!

A homemade coupon book for special treats, like favorite dinner requests, nights out, nights in, help with chores, etc.

A homemade hammock...(MJ has directions in a book, can't remember which one.)

A baby monitor or wireless camera system for the lambing/calving area during lambing/calving.

That's what I got my hubby for his birthday. He doesn't hunt, he wanted it for fun. Something to hang up on a tree while we're camping or in our yard. To see what wanders through. It was on sale for $60.00 at Bass Pro Shops.

Now, I need to start thinking about Christmas.... he does need a new tackle box.

Oh Christmas is getting closer everyday, lol. I knitted socks for DH last year, he loved em.

One year tho DH came in the living room Christmas morning to a big 50 lb guney sack full of peanuts with a big red bow sitting right by his chair. We ate lots of peanuts that winter

I need some good ideas for this Christmas too : )

my dh too gets what he wants when he wants it so I think I will think outside of the box this year. His office always gets the afternoon sun and it shines right in his eyes, so I may make him some curtains for his office. My dh also likes quilts and I made him one 20 yrs ago and it was my first quilt and I have come along way in that 20 yrs. so I may make him another one. Or a cover for his big tool box embriodered with his name on it. Marly, think of his hobbies and see if you can make something around that.

A pair of hand knit socks! My dh, who also has everything he needs and gets what he wants when he needs it...loves his.

After being together for nearly 20 years my dh has everything he wants, so he says. But he seems to get excited about gift certificates to his favorite catalogs like Cabela's and REI. This way he gets a gift and gets to go "shopping" for himself.
