This is a magazine I picked up last week and have seen some ideas I like - since I like to give homemade food gifts, there are some ideas on presentation - old boxes, lunch kits, cigar boxes, etc. It was something I hadn't thought of before.

I'll have to find that, thanks :)

It is a good issue I agree! I especially liked the foam cone Christmas trees decorated with beads and such...I have a 1959 issue of Family Circle mag that shows the cone trees decorated with sequines and rick rack and beads. Real kitchy!!! The beaded ornaments brought back memories of the fall of '68 when I was bedridden with Rhumatic Fever. Mom and I decorated close to a hundred of those fancy beaded balls for the tree. They were gorgeous! How I wished I still had some but when my parents moved in '70 the box of our lovingly created bead balls "dissappeared". Someone else must have liked them too...

I'll have to look for that - I'm already gearing up for the holidays (or stressing might be a better word, LOL).

Cool! Thanks for sharing! I'm gonna have to check it out, who doesn't love receiving a yummy homemade food gift presented in pretty and unusual ways? Sounds like some fun ideas for gift giving! Thanks again!
