with EASTER and SPRING coming up before too long .. i thought i'd share an idea with you that i once saw in a magazine .. i've made these and they are ADORABLE! great for gift-giving too!

Line the bottom of a woven basket with a plastic container filled with potting soil. If your basket doesn't have a handle, a length of pliant pussy willow attached to the sides with floral wire makes a fine subsitute. Planat plants like creeping fig and ferns, violets and other low-growing plants. top them with moss .. and add a sweet plant tag.

debi .. i'm gonna' try these .. i have made them before .. but gonna' do it again this springtime .. would love to see photos of your finished ones. this is a great idea for those 'cheaper' baskets that we all accumulate .. and make great gifts. when i do mine .. i'll post some pics too!
