I know it's early but last year we had over 30 girls sign up and we need time to craft those cards. I've been looking forward to this ever since last years ended. I had so much fun making cards that I had to do it again this year. So, if you'd like to join in and make some old fashioned Valentines and better yet, get some in return, sign up here. You will be making one for each girl on the list. I will try to get a photo posted of the album I made with all the cards I got last year! And for those who joined in the fun last year, you know what great works of art and the talent that oh so inspires! So, sign up here, the deadline hasn't been set yet, I will do that after the holidays. Think pink!!

I got another today--the postmark was over a week ago, so mail must be travelling slow. It was so pretty, it was worth the wait, though:)

Tracey - I got a return to sender from Teresa as well. Did anyone else? The address was correct on it and I checked it with the original list and it was the same.

I really like the card with the flower seeds in it...very creative!! Would you gals know that I looked all over for a single heart stamp to do the ladybug spots and couldn't find one, so I used one with 3 hearts in it....the day after I mailed those boogers out, I stumbled across a single heart stamp. haha. It would only happen to me, but at least I have it now and I can use it for so many projects. I love stuff with ladybugs on it and thought that would be something neat to do for a card. Hope you liked them!

Hello All!
I LOVED being a part of the Valentine exchange, a great big thank you to Sue for organizing it!

I did get one "return to sender" from Teresa Schneider ... I will check the name & address and get it back into the mail. Our computer has been down for a week so I'll check the back log of messages in case there is info there too.

XOXO,
Tracey

That would be very sad to think that Elizabeth turned away her cards...I'm hoping it's just a silly postman, Mary Beth! Anyway, I can't wait until next year and I'm very glad, Denise, that they helped a little bit to make you smile. There's nothing better than mail from Farmgirls!!!

Ok, girls. Mine are hung over my antique quilt hanging--had to get them out of the "dog reach", and tomorrow, I plan on taking them down and putting them in an acid free photo box for safe keeping. So pretty, it's hard to say which one is my favorite, I love them all!!!

I think because Candismom (Elizabeth) had to drop out maybe she felt funny getting the cards. I know I did when I first started receiving them and I haven't been able to reciprocate. Then I thought about how you girls knew we had dropped out and sent them anyway and I was grateful that you thought of me and you don't know how those cards have brightened my days. I have been struggling with some things lately and just to have my husband walk in with the mail and ask how come I rate so well to get all those envelopes each day helped me laugh. Thanks again girls. You are treasures.

My lovelies are clipped to a ribbon, garland style---though I was briefly missing in action, Valentines still found their way to my door! Such lovely warm thoughts to warm these cold, subzero days! And for you snow seekers I have not seen my lawn in almost 3 months, when it snows here, it stays until spring..

Thank you ladies so much for all the lovely Valentine Cards. I don't know about you ladies but it was a nice feeling getting cards even though most everyone addressed me as Linda Green and not Linda Geren. Not to worry....it happens a lot. Happy Valentines Day to all you special ladies here on MJF.

We have had such a mild winter this year that I almost miss the ice and snow! Every night it seems like spring is right around the bend. However, we did have ice and snow yesterday and last night. It was warm this morning though.

Thanks for the beautiful valentines. Mine are on top a cabinet so I see them when I come in the door. It has been so fun to receive them all in the mail and cheer me up going through this unbelievable winter here in Iowa. Nothing but snow, ice and subzero temps.

Hi everyone! I have been loving my cards!! They are all so awesome again this year!! (Dare I say we have outdone ourselves this year?) Mine went into the mail today. I apologize for the delay, but we had a death in the family and we have been busy cleaning out the house and taking care of the paperwork, etc. The cards are on my blog if you want to check them out. I had a great time making them, but especially getting them in the mail each day! Thank you all!

Hey guys....did you all get any cards returned to you? I got one (Teresa S) that was returned for wrong address. I looked at the list that was first sent out and it was correct. Hmmm...just wanted to see if anyone else got it sent back. Teresa, if you see this, send me a PM and I'll be sure to send your Valentine to ya.
