Posted - Dec 12 2007 : 5:30:10 PM I am spending the evening wrapping gifts, and it got me to thinking....
How do you all wrap presents? With so many of us environmentally concerned, yet artistic, and watching our budgets, plus just in love with our families and friends....how does everyone choose to wrap the goodies you plan to give?

Posted - Dec 14 2007 : 03:53:27 AM I have to go along with the hallmark paper but I especially like "brown paper packages tied up with string" I enjoy writing the words to that song on the packages too!

Posted - Dec 13 2007 : 9:46:08 PM Oh, that Hallmark wrapping paper is good, it even has the grid on the back for cutting! I have some for weddings. I love the kind of paper that lets you start your cut and just run the scissors right along. I can't tell you how happy that makes me. Oh, Miss Wilma, how I miss you!

Posted - Dec 13 2007 : 12:23:11 PM Alright, my ONE fetish is Hallmark Wrapping paper. I spend my money on hallmark wrap (I know, I know....) but, I like the way it wraps, and I'm a sucker for a good presentation. For bows, I use tulle and raffia, pieces of lace and wire ribbon, all tied with pine cones or holly sprigs, or something pretty from outside. If I had a fabric stash, I'd probably use that, too!

Posted - Dec 12 2007 : 6:43:42 PM Try buying the unfinished boxes and hand painting them with the water base paints. You can use stickers, copy graphics from on line and decoupage them or anything to customize them. You can get them at Jo Ann's or Wal Mart. Hugs, Pauline

Posted - Dec 12 2007 : 5:41:41 PM Oh, today I was at the farm wrapping presents on the floor and glanced over at a basket full of fabric scraps. Well, don't they make the prettiest farmgirl bows! I was rather proud of myself...I can't wait to get home and go through my own fabric scrap box and match them to my wrapping paper.
