What are you costuming your child as for halloween (if you dress up that is)?

Do you include refectors for safety? Where do you go trick or Treating? Around the neighborhood or just to family member's houses?

What about harem girls, or pirates, or mummies or witches. I loved going as a kitty cat or dog?

I have lots of sheets and such if you do decide to go as ghosts or mummies. I will bring them up for the chapter meeting.

Hugs!

I love the cow girl/ girl cow! HEHE That is really cute. There is a tradition in our family of baby wearing a certain devil outfit on their first halloween! I can't wait to dress Nora up as the devil! Maybe I should make her an angel outfit as well too!

The girls both wanted to be cowgirls this year but had different ideas on what a cow girl was. When we went to search for costumes my oldest Kaylee ended up in a vest, funny little chaps, a hat and a bandanna. The little one Halsey, ended up choosing a headband with ears and horns and a tail, so Kaylee is going as a cowgirl, and Halsey is going as a cow girl.. I would say girl cow but the horns make her look like a longhorn so.. yeah.

Hal is going to be lederhosen man and I will be the alpine beer girl. We did that in Spokane once, but none of our friends here have seen it so it'll be a fun repeat.

you can be oh so smart, or you can be oh so positive. I wasted a lot of time being smart I prefer being positive.

I found the most adorable costume for Rianna at a second hand store. She'll be almost 11 months by then and she's going as an icecream cone! too adorable for words. My 6 year old son is planning to be a pirate and our 4 year old daughter is planning to be a pony. I'll be a goddess of some kind and my husband...jury is still out on his costume. We go to a neighborhood that is well lit with loads and loads of people and we trick or treat as a family. It is VERY fun. I also dress my kids in their pjs under their costumes so that when we get home they are either asleep or ready for bed straight away! I also limit the number of homes we visit. I made the kids small trick or treat bags last year and we put the limit on 10 or 12 houses. It is p.l.e.n.t.y we've found. we are really looking forward to it.

My daughter is being a ladybug and so far I have no idea what my son wants to be. The others are older so they don't trick or treat anymore. We usually go around the neighbor hood and my hubby and I take a wagon with us. They also carry flashlights with them.
