I had posted before that our youngest son was born with some difficulties. Daniel had his first surgery to repair duodenal atresia (stomach deformity) the day after he was born and he came through that like a champ. He's home now, just growing until his next surgery to repair his heart defect which will be sometime in the spring.

I've hopefully attached a couple of pictures.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts.

Anne-Marie

Precious! Absolutely precious. Ditto on what Nini said. Your farmgirl sisters are praying.

Oh my GOODNESS, your children are ADORABLE, AnneMarie!!! Such wisdom and peace in their eyes. Mom is definitely doing something wonderful in their precious little hearts and lives - you can just see it in their faces! How wonderful!! You're AWESOME!!! And what a strong and handsome little fighter you have there! I'm so happy to hear Daniel did well with the surgery. I can only imagine how difficult it must be knowing what he faces in the spring; but, you know, he's such an amazing little boy, God bless him. Always remember and find strength in knowing how deeply God loves and adores him, and that He has such amazing plans and purpose for his life. Also, please be ever mindful that you've got your farmgirl sister prayer warriors lifting you all up in prayer. We've got your back, sister - AND Daniel's, for sure! Please keep us posted. Hugs and love - Nini

You are either the youngest mom I've seen in a while or the young lady in the previous picture is his older sister. In any case, I will hold him and your family in my prayers.
