I keep telling myself that I can quit any time, but who am I fooling? I play it when I'm sitting on the toilet!

I do play Candy Crush. I am too cheap to pay for anything on the game, so that is not a problem for me. After a long day of work, I do like to just sit and zombie-out to something mindless like a game. But when my lives are gone, I get up and do something else. I am too high-strung to sit and play games for hours.

But my kids do tease me when I pass a level and shout, "I am the Candy Crush Goddess......!"

my older son encouraged me to play. i never buy anything though, i am not falling into that trap. the game is so frustrating at times. i'm sure like farmville the hype will eventually fade, LOL I'd rather be outside anyways getting dirty.

I quit cold turkey after my husband added up my monthly candy crush purchases. I play a farming game now, Hay Day, which is fun but not as addicting.

I've blocked all the games on my FB site. There are many more interesting things to do. However, I do play way too much solitaire.

Getting outside is more important.

I quit taking it. I just wasn't getting high on it anymore. I have switched to Trizzle on Pogo. I'll probably stop that in a few weeks too. I have to keep switching up my drugs because I become immune to them after a while.

My daughter warned me against this! She told me, "Don't even try it."

I deleted it from my phone. I couldn't discipline myself from 'buying' more lives. I was also late on my work breaks so it was adios time. In all the hours I was playing that thing I could've crocheted a sweater or did some sewing.......

I've been stuck on level 125 for five weeks. I play it every day and can't get past. CHECK ME IN! I'm going to get brave and delete the app, I swear.

I have heard so much about that game. Haven't tried it. I go through spurts. The last game I got obsessed with was a home design game where you design all the rooms and decorate them. Bugged my dh when I would get on it so long. Realized it took away from my knitting and other hobbies, but sometimes games are a good stress reliever. :)

Nicole

I quit Candy Crush as I seemed to be having it take up much of my spare time and I came to the realization if I wanted to have time for other things that had to go. Too addicting for me.
