Posted - May 02 2013 : 06:32:04 AM Hubby's birthday is this Sunday. Mine is only 5 days later. I'm trying to come up with something for us on a budget. He works Saturday until 7pm, so it would be a one day trip, or overnight or just a surprise on Sunday.
Got any ideas?
I already checked hotel, B&B prices - $85.00 and up. I can't afford that price. Maybe breakfast out on Sunday AM or breakfast home in bed? I will try to get some time to search things to do within an hour from here too.
Our birthdays seem to get lost in the shuffle of life, and I really want to do something he's not expecting.
Maybe lunch at his favorite restaurant (which we haven't been to since 2011). It's a pricey place, so I need to check their menu prices on-line.
I am going to look up what it will cost to renew my zoo pass too. He may enjoy taking the entire family to the zoo too.
I'd love to hear your ideas. I'll go back through the "date night" thread too.

Posted - May 03 2013 : 04:22:55 AM Winnie, you read my mind. Hubby and I are talking about combining both our birthdays into one getaway (possibly).
