I just called into work for a snow day. My grandkids are sleeping downstairs with their mom and dad. There is no school. So what are we going to do today? What is your favorite things to do on a snow day? Do you go outside and play, build a snowman, hot chocolate and marshmallows, or do you craft? I'll post later to let you know what our day ends up being.

We always bake cookies and make a nice family dinner. Watch movies and play games. Stay in jammies all day. I am not the outdoor type in the winter. So we stay in.

I wish we could have 'snow date's in the summer so we could go out and have fun. ;)

Thanks Ruby, thats exactly what we did, we played outside for a good while this am, and made a snowman. Came in and had lunch and hot chocolate. Watched a movie while our clothes dried, and went out for a walk to see all the beautiful trees etc. Good day. Minimal fighting between the kids. lol

If it were me, I'd be going outside and play in the snow with the grandkids. I know my own kids have very fond memories of us playing in the snow, building snowmen, etc. when they were young.

You're very lucky to be able to spend time with your grandkids, cherish every minute of it. I hope you have a fun day!
