Posted - Dec 27 2012 : 3:54:57 PM If you like strategy games here's some of our family favorites:
Settlers of Catan Ticket to Ride Risk Acquire
Some thinking, word, and card-game games: Set Quiddler Five Crowns Mancala Tripoley Uno Attack
We love all the ones you all have shared as well. I know we have a ton more in our cupboard that we play, but these are at the top of the list.

Oh, and Aggravation - I played that with Dad all the time when I was a kid, and still love it because of the special memories associated with it.

Posted - Dec 20 2012 : 11:50:07 AM Ha... go ahead with Apples to Apples, but I've played it, and we never really liked it. Only played it a couple of times with the same family, so maybe it was "environmental." How about Balderdash? That's our favorite.

Posted - Dec 18 2012 : 1:29:33 PM Hi Julie, the game my family recently have been enjoying is called "Malarky". It's ages 10 and up. Very clean, funny game. I think it's made by "Patch" and comes in a tin box not a cardboard box.

Posted - Dec 18 2012 : 06:36:07 AM Sequence is the most fun for us. Easy to learn and takes a bit of time to master. You can play in teams, which is fun. All ages.
I also like Racko. Another easy to learn, all ages game.

Posted - Dec 17 2012 : 09:39:52 AM Upwords and Jargon. both word tile games, but not as intense as Scrabble. My husband will play Upwords with me, because he figures he has a chance of winning, but never Scrabble. :-) |

Typically I will NOT play Scrabble with my hubby because he takes FOR-EVER . . . and I mean FOREVER to think about a word. The ONLY time we will let him play is when we use the timer from our Boggle game. CJ
