Wow, seems like yesterday, but also ten years ago when I was talking about being pregnant and it was only this time last year. My darling son is now 9 months old and starting to get into everything. the growth has been amazing along with all the teeth...all 8 of them and I think he's beginning to work on his molars. ugh.

There are times I wish I could go back and tell myself all about these first days with him. What to do, what not to do, some of the choices such as diapers I made I wish I had done different.

But... I must admit he's doing fine anyways, which is great considering the rough start we had. The neurologist was impressed when we did our visit the other day and could tell we had really been working therapy. That made me feel good because some days I feel like I don't do enough with my son. Life is busy and now there is an extra person involved that needs me (he thinks) all the time. it's been nice having some of the chicks from the Southwest henhouse see him grow.

And there he is now after along nap. So to the rest of the new mothers' from this past year. Head up, good job and take a nap.

You will see that the only message you will have for yourself when you look back on the time you had little ones is that you should have just relaxed and trusted yourself more. And enjoy every minute.

Try not to second guess yourself. We all mess up.

A baby's wants and needs are one in the same...he does need YOU! ;o) You're a excellent mommy! Keep having fun with your mommyhood!

Time truly does fly! My youngest will be 9 next Tuesday and it seems like yesterday that he was toddling around the house. I miss those days, but love every day of being a mom.
