Posted - Mar 04 2012 : 09:49:55 AM I just saw the news about the horrible destruction. Our prayers go out to all. Stay safe, material things are replaceable even though it's devastating, as long as you have your family and you are all safe that's what matters. Be safe.

Posted - Mar 03 2012 : 7:06:24 PM Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have experienced the recent storms. If there is anything we can do, please let us know. Maybe we can set up our own FarmGirls Red Cross and pool our energies towards helping our sisters who need it. I like the idea of a check-in or check-off thread to make sure our girls and their families are all okay.

Posted - Mar 03 2012 : 10:59:05 AM See such devastation on the TV. I just can't imagine going through all that. My prayers for the safety of you all in those areas, but also to lose your house, pictures belonging and those things you hold dear, must be so dreadful. Is there a thread dedicated to all the farmgirls that are in tornado areas to check in? Are we missing anyone? Many prayers to all you!!!

Posted - Mar 02 2012 : 4:10:36 PM When the sky turns that sick yellow/green, and it sometimes gets dead quiet...run, do not walk to the closest shelter...tornados can start small, and get big, they can change direction on a dime, they are deadly in any form or size...be safe...

Posted - Mar 02 2012 : 3:33:32 PM Just talked to my sister in Madison, Indiana. She said the sirens went off at three p.m. A tornado touch down less that 10 miles from her. Her daughter lives less than the ten miles from where one touch down. Nichole said she had a big piece of roofing hit the front of her house. Siren was off by 4:00p.m. But the warning are no over till nine. So all the kids and grandkids are coming to my sisters house. They have a basement apartment where her mom-in-law lives. My sister Diane said it looks bad. The sky is black. So I am asking for prayers for my sister and her family. To be safe. Thank you sisters-Marlee
