I had to share, I am so very proud of my two older daughters! My girls (I have three) are all so very different and the older two are following their dreams...very divergent dreams. My oldest daughter Amalie, is an Ensign in the Navy. She just passed her board and became a Surface Warfare Officer today.

My middle daughter Annabelle, is a model in NYC and is participating in Fashion Week, was in a second music video that was just released, and has landed a spot in a Couture show next weekend.

I could not be a prouder Mama Hen!

Thank you all for the lovely comments. AnnaB I also have a son with moderate ADHD...while he is a wonderful, loving and caring human being (something that makes me very proud of him) he too has struggled with getting anywhere in his life. He is living back East where he fell in with the wrong group of people and got into trouble. But he is paying his dues, and hopefully will be moving out with us in April where he will get his second chance. We had to let him hit rock bottom, for him to see that he needed help. Tough love is never easy!

I hope your friend's son gets the help he needs. And I pray for your friend that she have strength through this trial. It is so very hard for a Mother to stand by and watch one of our children fail. Tell her there are others out there who knows what she is going through, and we send her light and love!

This is so very inspiring.

I don't have children but have been comiserating with a friend who has 3 boys. One of whom is turning out to be a deadbeat (also has bad ADHD) and needs a serious kick in the behind. He flunked out of Jr college and can't hold a job and won't help out around the house. Sounds like he might be perfect for a life in the military.

Kudos to you and yours for their successes!!

Keep up the awesome work!

Margaret, your daughters are amazing women and I am so glad you shared with us.

My oldest (age 9) is Annabel (spelled different than yours, but a lovely name in any form!)

Thank you all so much the the lovely comments and for allowing a proud Mama to brag. I am very excited because all three of my daughters will be out here in CO the second week of March. It will be the first time we have all been together since Thanksgiving two years ago!

Oh daughters how wonderful. I am a bit jealous. I have only boys. But always have longed for a daughter. Your daughters are very beautiful. I always tease my husband and tell him you gave me everything in life except for one thing. He always ask whats that . My reply to him is a daughter. He tells me to be patient and maybe I will have a granddaughter one day. You have a right to brag. What wonderful smart daughters you have.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.
