Kids reacted really well for the most part. My oldest got a little upset because she thinks Ill make her babysit! lol...but theya re all so excited! I'm almost 10w and we are going to use the doppler tonight to see if we can't hear the baby. I picked up his (?) hr at 144 a couple of weeks ago but we couldn't really hear it.
Not a day goes by that we aren't just marveled (Travis and I that is...) and feeling so blessed by this little one.

Congratulations Tasha-Rose! Such happy news. Love the little sweater. You'll have to tell us how your kids react. I bet they will be so happy! On another note,k someone please tell me what "BFP" stands for. I just can't figure that one out, LOL!

Hey thanks ladies!! We are still so in wonder and amazement. We ahven't told the children yet. The plan is tonight. We are doing a tofurky dinner with roasted baby veggies :) and we got them a book about babies, birth, pregnancy and everything in between. The older girls know quite a bit already have both borne witness to homebirths in the past and because I am a midwife and the general open attitude we ahve baout bodies and sexuality and sharing age appropriate info.. I am excited to tell them tonight :)

Oh what wonderful news. 2012 will certainly be very special for you and your guy. How are your children reacting?? You are very talented, that hoodie is adorable. I would be thrilled to be able to produce something like that, let alone in one afternoon.

Travis is soooo over the moon.
I got home and knit up a sweet little hoodie and put inside of it a onesie which read "my first christmas". then wrapped it up. he got home and took out the recycling and changed into his jammies and sat down by me. I gave him the present. He opened it and his jaw literally fell open and he looked at me and said very softly, "oh wow....really?" I told him yes then showed him the tests that I took and he cried and hugged me and kissed me and asked when I found out and then we laid down together and he took my hand and put it on my womb space and put his hand over it and began praying. It was so wonderful. We were laughing and crying and it was so beautiful.
