Posted - May 09 2010 : 5:46:45 PM This morning at church, our priest gave a beautiful blessing for mothers. I don't remember it word for word, but he reminded us to pray for mothers who have had miscarriages, those who want children, those who have had to bury children, those estranged from their children, and for mothers who don't have children, but have nurtured many people. So, for ALL mothers, Happy Mother's Day! God's Blessings, Megan aka Loretta Rae

Posted - May 09 2010 : 11:10:28 PM It is so easy to forget those for whom Mothers day also is bittersweet. My MIL lost 5 babies to miscarriage and had two of her four children die as young adults. For those with a terminally ill child it has to be so hard, knowing this may be their last Mothers Day together. Thanks to you and your priest by switching our focus to include them.
