I love reading about weddings on this site and especially enjoy seeing pictures of the wedding couples. Wouldn't it be fun to post our wedding picture with the date and a little something about that very special day! Mine are packed up right now as we have sold our home and building the new one. I could get my hands on my wedding portrait, but DH isn't in it.

Mine are on my photobucket, they're just organized into albums now. :)

Megan, where did all your pictures go to?

I love all these good wedding pictures. Mine was so long ago and we just had a friend take ours. So not many and they were just a regular camera. I have them all in my scrapbook.

There was another thread about practical wedding ideas before this one. I don't seem to have the search feature quite figured out. Any suggestions how to find that one?

Love all the pictures ladies! Jonni, I love the black and white, it does look very vintage :)

Here we are out in the orchard, just last year...

I thought taking pictures in the tobacco was a GREAT idea, and the pictures turned out wonderful. Especially the black and white ones. They're so striking! (And, black and white is so flattering! haha!)

Hee Hee ... Loving all your wedding pictures. Too bad cameras weren't invented when we were married! Just kidding ... we ran away and got married so no one to take pix back in 1957. Hoping all your's last as long as our's.

Love all the pictures ladies

This is at the reception mil threw us in June '04 at her place on Crystal Lake.

We were married at the JOP with just close family and friends in attendance, then we rented a large beach house for a week and had friends come in to stay for a a couple of hours or a couple of days when they could as a reception. We got to hang out with many close friends that week.

I gotta agree..James Dean for sure, Jonni! ;)
MaryBeth--I sooo wanna see your sweet pic! Purple polka dots are always one of those things that since it was different, it will always remind you :D
This is so much fun! Great idea Jonni!

Here are some pictures from my wedding on Oct 3rd. We really had a farm wedding :) I even drove in on our tractor! The wedding took place out in one of our fields. We planned/paid for it all ourselves. What a task!

I was 16 and ran off and got married. I was wearing a lavendar polka dotted dress and wanted to go to the carnival after the wedding. I think I was just a little girl out on a lark but then it did last for 40+ years. whew!!! I'll have to find that picture--the JP took it.

He does, doesn't he, Nancy? In fact, when I first told my mom about him, I said, he looks like James Dean and she said, "No one looks like James Dean except James Dean!" But now she thinks otherwise :)

Jessie! It's so nice to "see" what you look like! I'm still collecting for that baby, and now that I know the gender, well, it's a heck of a lot easier!

Both pictures are so beautiful! I would love to see more. Jonni your picture does look right out of the 50's. The really "cool" fifties. And Jessie, you and CR look like the elegant wedding pictures in Town & Country Magazine! I hope to post one maybe by tomorrow. Again most of our stuff is in storage but I think I can find one.
