I drove the 1000 miles round trip with no problems. But sure glad to be home...Lots of things to do for Spring planting..

Posted - Apr 03 2009 : 12:19:38 PM It is good to be home after a long trip. I'm glad you had a good time with your mother.
My DD and I are leaving tonight after she gets off work to go see my mom and step dad for the weekend. I have not been down there in about 4 years. It's just too hard with all these animals. So they come up here all the time. I thought this would be the only weekend before goat babies come that I could leave for a few days. But I'm already looking forward to getting back home. I just like being home, I guess.
I sure wish I could plant. We've had SO much rain here. And it's not done yey, either. We are supposed to get down to 20 something next week. And the apple trees are already budding. So no apples from one tree.
