Posted - Feb 12 2009 : 4:09:58 PM Hello Ladies, I haven't written in a long time, life is so full these days with joy and sorrow but I would not change it for anything.
My daughter was taken to the hospital early yesterday morning with high blood pressure and a very bad headache. She is 38 weeks PG and has been battling the high blood pressure for a number of months. They put her on bed rest last Thursday and it did not help. They started to induce yesterday at 11am. Today at 11am they broke her water and still she is stuck at 1. The doctor had told her that is could take 3 days as her body is just not ready. They now are trying to get her blood pressure up as it keeps dropping. Please pray for her and her DH this is their first baby. They are so excited!!!! I too had such problems and it was sooooo scary but now as the mom and nana it is even scarier.
Thank you for your help.

Posted - Feb 13 2009 : 03:12:20 AM Greetings, Betty Jo! I will definitely say a special prayer for your daughter; she is in good hands and being monitered carefully it sounds, so that is a blessing. Wow, you have THREE grandbabies on the way? What an exciting year this will be. Hugs, Nance |

Posted - Feb 12 2009 : 8:55:09 PM My sister went through a similar thing with her last child. Her blood pressure was out of control as well, and her doctor had to do an emergency c-section a month before my niece was due. She was VERY tiny, but she had none of the "usual" problems that preemies often face. She's 3yrs old now and just beautiful and thriving. I remember how scary it was to watch my sister go through all that, so I know a little of how you feel right now.
My thoughts and prayers are DEFINITELY with you and your family Betty Jo. I pray that your daughter and your dear sweet gandbaby get through this ordeal safely and in excellent health! Gods peace and blessings to you and your family ~~~ Tracy
