Posted - Nov 03 2008 : 09:59:49 AM Three pregnancy tests have come up negative but my monthly courses are over 4 weeks over due which would put me in week 8 if I am pregnant.
My husband and I had been trying for three years for another (we have two now, 8 yrs and 5 yrs old) and kind of gave up and left it to God in late summer. We've had three miscarriages.
I have been late before (two weeks late max) and my cycles have been a regular 28 day cycle for 5 months prior to this no-show. I tested in week 4 and 5 but left on vacation in Massachusetts for week 6 where I was always going to the bathroom, which is about the only symptom I get since I never have morning sickness. I haven't tested since we got back. Sometime I wish I did get major morning sickness...then there would be no way of denying it.
I'm thinking of getting my doc to order a blood test to be sure. I can't tell anyone until I know for sure because I don't want get anyone's hopes up...including my husband's. We'd all be crushed.
Thanks for listening.. Tracy

Posted - Dec 05 2008 : 2:39:07 PM I'm not trying to get hopes up but here's two things that I have learned with my self.
The urine test only positive with the first morning pee. Not later.
Two, I had about 3 periods during my pregnancy. They were not hemmoraging. They were light spotting periods. They got me worried. I told the drs, they were not worried. And said it was common. And every thing looked good. My daughter is fine.
My second pregnancy.......the test did not come up positive in the evening, but did in the mornings. I had a light period. (not heavy like usual, just a light light one). Exactly like it was for my daughter.
So be sure, sure you aren't pregnant, before giving away your stuff.
Also as was said by some one else, only blood test ever showed my mom as pregnant also urine test never worked for her.

Posted - Dec 05 2008 : 08:45:32 AM Tracy, I feel for you I am dealing with the same thing. Each month is such a bummer. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome too. I am on medication but I am still not getting pregnant. My hormones are way out of wack. If your periods are off you probably have some sort of hormone imbalance. Good luck I am praying for you. Posted - Nov 11 2008 : 7:17:43 PM Tracy, I'm so sorry to hear that. I can honestly say I know how bad it hurts because I went through the same thing. Me and my husband tried for 3 years to get pregnant (we already had a son at the time) and nothing would work. We tried 3 rounds of A.I. and to many trips to the obgyn. Finally I went to a endocrynologist and he diagnosed me with poly cistic ovarion syndrome and prescribed me a glucose medication. After I went to see him I prayed and told God that I was giving all my worries over to him and three months later I was pregnant. Our little Gracie girl is five now. One day I was looking through some papers and found the letter from the doctor reminding me of my appt. It was October 7th of 2002 and my daughter was born Oct. 7th, 2003. So I know for sure that God can answer prayers! Hang in there and if you haven't checked into the PCOS symptoms I would. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Posted - Nov 10 2008 : 5:21:41 PM Tracy- My heart aches for you. I accumulated a lot of baby items during a brief pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage. It is painful and sad, but by the time my daughter did decide to stick with me, it was good to get things with just her in mind and to have family give things that they had used. I hope the doctor has some answers for you. In the mean time *big hugs*

I'm so sorry! These are the times to trust that God has the perfect plan that we are not suppose to figure out - though we sure do try at times! I'll be praying for you and your family.

Posted - Nov 10 2008 : 4:59:46 PM No...I'm not.
I've got an appointment with my doc next week so hopefully we can find out what's really going on. I took a hpt which came up negative and then Aunt flo arrived yesterday...I'm beyond sad.
I have to start giving away my baby items over the next while. It will be hard but I have to do it sometime. I've been putting it off for months now. We're buying our farm this summer and I don't want the memories of infertility weighing me down when I want to be happy for the new phase of our life.
Thanks for the positive thoughts ladies. I appreciate it. Tracy

Posted - Nov 03 2008 : 11:10:49 AM Tracy- Good luck with the test! If you have a family planning near by they sometimes will do the blood test for you, and I believe that public health will as well so you can get one without going to the doctor's office.

Posted - Nov 03 2008 : 10:53:44 AM Good luck Tracy - my first symptom was always overwhelming drowsiness early in the evening - I only had 1 day of morning sickness out of four pregnancies, so that's not a real good indicator. Let us know!
