Posted - Oct 02 2008 : 4:45:15 PM My husband has 4 more weeks of chemo and then he's done! Hallelujah sister! He's been on it for 44 weeks. What an ordeal. I can not wait for this to be all done. They say there's no sign of the disease he had (not cancer) and when he's done, they check at 1, 3 and 6 months to make sure it doesn't come back. It's really been something. He started on it last December and we just got married a year ago August. Whew! He's been off work since June and he's been so sick. He's an amazing person to go through this and keep up with it even when he's lost 40 pounds can't do anything but go from the bed to the couch and back again. I feel like I've been husband and wife and I'm going to be soooooo happy to go back to just being the wife!!! happy dance!
