I absolutiely love your quote, "Take a lesson from the teakettle, though up to its neck in hot water...it sings!"
Love it.

On the inside of my husband's wedding band, I had engraved "I love you with a love that's more than love..."
Part of a quote from Edgar Allen Poe's "Annabelle Lee'. What a beautiful poem.
Let us know what quote you decide on.

Kathie,
That is actually a verse about marriage and making God the center of it.

I think I decided on " My love, My life, My friend". I had a few others that I really liked (Some from here) but in the end I went with simple. I think it sums it up for us. Thanks for everyones help.

Ive never engraved anything for dh but in our wedding I had the song played for him "Did you ever know that your my hero" So I think I would have to have something similiar engraved. I'm sure he will love whatever you have written. Let us know what you decide. Karen

All of those are nice ideas...when Jus and I got married, I had his ring engraved with "the world awaits!" because we both felt like our lives had JUST begun together, even though we were in our late 20's, and had lived a bit...

Farmgirl Sister #80, thanks to a very special farmgirl from the Bluegrass..."She was built like a watch, a study in balance ... with a neck and head so refined, like a drawing by DaVinci"...

Whenever I think of something engraved on a ring, I think of the one from M.A.S.H. "Our love will never fail."

ok, here are a couple that I like..:

In Latin it reads..: " Ego dilecto meo et dilectus meus".. Meaning..
"I am my beloved's and my Beloved is mine"

"Anam Cara" It's an Irish Gaelic term for "Soul Friend"
I've actualy seen it with both inscribed together on things..

A pretty Quote from Gandhi.. :
"Wherever you are, You will always be in my Heart"

"I made a Wish and You came True"

" J'aime et J'espere." (Means "I Love and I Hope".)

Hope you find one thats right for you two!!
Congratulations on your Anniversary!!
