I am on family emergency overload right now.

This is my last 3 weeks

1. Son in car wreck. His wrist is damaged to the point that the ortho sent him to a wrist specialist. Casted for 6 weeks and then possible surgery and more casting. The tendons and ligaments are stretched and torn. We are looking at knee surgery too. All dr's are two hours away from home and he is still hurting.

2. Son's car was totaled. The guy that hit my son had no insurance and my insurance isn't offering enough too pay it off. Can we say battle...

3. Engine blew in my husbands truck last week. We went from 3 cars to one. I drive 2 hours to work in one direction my husband drives 1 hour in another. I now drive 8 hours a day until the truck is fixed!!

4. 6 year old grandson fell off our deck snapped both arm bones completly into. Dislocated shoulder too

5. My middle daughter went back to her abusive boyfriend after he choked and threatened to kill her. We have lost count of the "I am leaving him speech".

6. My tire blew on my car this morning.

I am looking forward to getting up tomorrow and having a nice hot cup of coffee while sitting on my front porch, looking at the mountains and taking a LOOOOOONG DEEEEEEEP breathe. I thank God for the peace of this land.

Tamara, I am so sorry you are having all this difficulty in your life right now. I can certainly understand how upset you must be to have your daughter go back to an abusive man. You must feel so helpless to get her to admit what a jerk this guy is. I pray that she comes to her senses before something terrible happens. I pray to that you will have some peace this weekend and get some much needed rest and relaxation.

Wow, you have been in quite a series of stressful situations, I can't imagine handling all that at once. '''''we hurt so much for our kids when they are hurting, and of course to be so scared for your daughter. her situation sounds terrifying. I can only hope that things calm down and life brightens up for you and your family. Hang in there , you're a strong woman. Hope your weekend brings some relief...

Praying for you and your family. You've had enough, for sure.

Feel free to vent here anytime.

Thanks ladies. My biggest worry is my daughter who went back to the abusive boyfriend. Everything else will get fixed one way or another.

I just do not get my girl. Her father has never laid a hand on me and gives me the utmost respect. This guy she has lived with for the last three years hits her, curses her, and belittles her constantly. She has places to go, people who love her but she won't leave. He has threatened to kill her and our 18 month old grandson. WHAT WILL IT TAKE for her to leave!!!??!?!?!?!?

I believe her going back was what hit me so hard. For one of the few times in 30 years of marriage my super strong husband broke down and cried. Everyday we wake up and pray for her and our grandsons safety. It is an exhausting experience too. Every few weeks there is the call to come and get her. She has been hit or kicked, or choked.... We leave at 11 or 12 at night drive hours to pick her up and 3 days later she is back because he is sorry...It is an emotional rollercoster. Now with everything else going on life seems way out of sorts. Like walking in a dream (or nightmare ). I am sure you ladies know what I mean.

Thanks for the vent time too

Tamara

Holy smokes....You need a little something in that coffee....but I admire you for "plowin through" and things can only get better! Keeping your family in my prayers. What concerned me the most in your serious list was the one about your daughter. I will really pray for her.

Wow. That's a lot on a poor farmgirl. I am thinking of you and your family, and the cars, and broken bones, but NOT the crappy boyfriend.
