Last year I shared with you the experience of going through a cancer scare with my 16 yr old son. It was a very traumatic experience with a thankfully happy ending. Now a year later, he has excelled at football and school, besides being a great kid all around. His teams winning play in the state championship is featured this week on ESPN as the #1 play of the week.. I am so proud!

Thanks Suzi and Carol Sue- Friday he got to be on our High School Sports Wrap(ABC) on TV.

Typical sports mom- I miss football already!

Happiness is not so much in having as sharing.
We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

WOW! this is awesome. I'm proud too. You are a lucky mama to have such a brave son. Very special moment to share after such a nightmare of a cancer alarm like that. Beth, I'm so happy for both of you and your whole family.

Wishing you joy in small things and peace in your heart

Annika

I am so glad that your son's experience ended with a happy ending. I remember what you are talking about- he has a lump didn't he? I am sure you would be one proud mom anyway, but I bet the scare makes these achievements even more special. You have a great son!
