Oldest son, who was to report for duty (Army) on Nov. 25th was given extra time (until Jan.27th) as he is in the middle of working out some custody issues with his ex and it would be a bad time for him to leave. I am so so so thankful that he can spend this Christmas with his little girl! I can breathe again now for a couple months.
I know he still has to go, but it made my day to get this news!

I only wish I could be in Calif WITH him for Christmas..but he will be with his little family (his daughter, his fiance and her two little kids) and near most of my side of the family too, including his closest in age brother...AND I will get to talk to him on the phone and know he is safe at home. I am so glad I got to go visit...just such a blessing. Thanks for all your good thoughts, gals. I am sure keeping all of our soldiers in my prayers!

Go news for you and your son. The Military has a way of making us sit on pins and needles sometimes when they send their orders out. I try not to worry to much until I send my boys off on a plane and even then their orders have been changed. Have a wonderful Christmas with your son and Grand daughter. God answers all prayers! Keep praying until all our men and women are home and the world is at peace with themselves.
