Well they finished our well on Saturday. They had a couple of issues when drilling it but nothing too much. Our well is 160 feet deep and we have lots of water!!

We decided on our house this weekend it will be this one:
http://www.solitairehomes.com/pdfs/LEGEND%203%20SALES.pdf

At first I wanted a different house but considering the property and the fact that it is just us now this one suits us quite well and I am very happy with it! We will even have enough room if my parents decide they can no longer live by themselves in the future.

Tonight we are getting our electrical hook up for our travel trailer and an outside power outlet for using power tools and stuff at the new property. Now all we need is to build the well house and put in the pressure tank and electrial components to finish that so we can use our water well. Then we will have to put in a water hydrant of course. After that we can move our travel trailer out there to live whenever we are ready. It is possible that the buyers might close on our house in as little as 3 weeks so we have to be ready to move prior to that.

Everything is moving so smoothly!!

Erin,
We lucked out with the guy who drilled our well. My niece's husband is good friends with him and he helped us get scheduled so quickly. From what I understand it is usually a 2-3 month wait to have a water well drilled around here. It only took us a week to have it drilled after we got on his list. We were just very lucky to say the least. Now we are going to do dig our own septic....with help from my brother-in-law.....fun fun.
