Hello everyone! I just finished reading a wonderful book and wanted to pass on the title so you could all enjoy it. Author is Catherine Friend and title is Hit By a Farm. I absolutely loved it. Go to the website: www.hitbyafarm.com. It is about two women who start a farm and all their subsequent adventures. It is very well written and I so enjoyed recalling all the crises and thrilling moments that occur daily as part of farm life. Not only that, it is hilarious! Hope you like it!

Oh how cool that you have already been emailing with the author, Beth! I just picked up my copy from the Library this weekend and have vowed to start reading it tonight (after the Urban Farmgirls gathering!). I love the sheep on the cover. Can't wait to dive in!

Catherine with a C in MN, but not the author! :)

Just got this from Catherine and hope she won't mind my sharing-

Beth,

Thanks for the link to the Farmgirl Connection---cool discussion group. I had no idea it existed!

If you're interested in children's books, I have a new one out that was inspired partly by the farm. It's called The Perfect Nest, and you can read more about it at www.catherinefriend.com .

Hope you enjoy Hit By a Farm!

Catherine

So maybe even a cool new farmgirl huh?????!!!!! Gonna delve into this great read this weekend.

Pam,

This book sounds great!! I'll see if our library system has it. If not, I'll order it. Sounds just like something I would love. Thanks.

that book sounds great. As I have recently changed my career back to being a farm girl full time.
