Well the reason I have been MIA for almost a month is... we decided our hearts were not in Washington so we made the decision to list our lil 5 acre ranchette...
We listed it..and 5 weeks later it sold,,,, OMG!
So we packed up had a Moving company pick up and place our belongings into storage and we loaded up our 2 (sold the 3rd one) vintage trailers and headed back to California....
We are now in offers on a lovely home in a little bur called Ahwahnee just a hop, skip and a jump from Oakhurst and 30 min from Yosemite! We are so happy.
We have been coming here off and on for 22 years and always said we wanted to live here... and here we are... fulfilling our dream.
Soon as the dust settles I will be posting photos. But for now we are enjoying everything, family and old friends.... but we will miss our Washington friends.... and will always have a guest room!

I bought a new/unopened roll of wall paper at the local Thrift,,,to use as shelving paper. Best $1.99 I ever spent!

Well Marianne, I miss you too! (& Larry)....
Lot's of work going on around here..... the place looks like a war zone! and in the midst of everything,,, delays mostly... our furniture & belongings that have been in storage up in Spokane will arrive this Saturday! yikes! cuz the carpet got delayed and wont get installed until next Thursday. Plus we have not gotten all the painting done.... oh well,,, at least we are still having fab-u-lus weather....

we had to have a lovely ginormus Oak tree cut down because it was 6' away from the house and one of the major limbs was hanging over the house... and the insurance company would not give us a policy with the tree there... but the good news is, we have lots more big Oaks on our property...

I told the tree I loved it.
I see you Spokanites have had some brisk weather.... you know you & Michael are welcome at our LaCasa anytime.
hugz

Well, we are still 'living the Dream'... waiting to hear if our 'offer' on a wonderful house has been accepted or countered...
In the mean time we are having fun just being a couple of goofball tourists!
