I wanted to share with my Farmsisters
that everything is starting to fall in
place for me to get my own land and have
my own Farmette. I have been takling to a
realtor, Thursday I talk to the loan person.
Based on what he told me things for the loan
should be ok, which was my greatest worry.
Lots of prayers being answered here.
YIPPEE!!!!!

Tiana,
I will be in the general area. Moving west a bit.
More toward or in Lanaster County, PA. I will for 99%
of the time be on my own. Two of my children, have
no interest, the one who always did is in college now
and suffering from a need for independance. But I am
hoping with time he would come around. (Before college, I had
encouraged him to do this since he loved the farmlife and
farm animals.) I have a brother who is great for help when
things break around the house. I already warned him, I
will be calling on him. I have done this before, so I have a
little experience. I am sure I will still have plenty of adventures.
Lucky for me, I have several thousand wonderful and experienced Farmsisters.

Jenne,

I know exactly where you are. I come down from Allentown and go shopping along #30 and #340. I also have a sister who lives in Quarryville, she is south of you.

My husband and I moved from the suburbs here about 4 years ago. I LOVE
it here. Ever since I was young I knew I wanted to do some farming and have some animals.

Keep in touch and let me know how you are getting on.

Anne,
I am looking for about an acre or a little more. It is
only me here and I know I cannot handle a lot. But I know
I will enjoy it. I am not looking for an income. Just more
self-sufficiency and a little fun. Good Luck to you too.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Woohoo...sounds like things are going to fall into place. Trust me, if this does work out..which I think it will...you will be so glad you took that first step. When we bought our home the most intimidating part was working with the bank....but, you will find that each little success feels so good. I am excited for you:) Keep us posted, Erica
