So, I just had a conversation with my Mama, talking about the vacations I spent as a child on a farm. It was glorious, as I lived in the city for the rest of the year.

My son would just be tickled pink to do this, and my 15 year old blogger would melt too :).

I was thinking if someone here in the MJ community in California with a ranch could use some extra help in the spring, we could barter "work" for "board" for a few days. My kids are 11 (b), and 15 (g). We have a German Shepard, but I think we will have to arrange for him to stay home.

Give me a jingle!

Katie,
we HAVE! I could not remember your Farm Girl name, and hoped you would see me :). Let's talk. Maybe you can send me some dates when you know you can use extra "greenhorn" help :). I am scheduling our trips, 4H stuff, and my festivals as I type :).

I am jazzed!

Wish I were closer to Georgia too :)!
I like your goats :).
One of my dreams...having goats and making goat cheese!
Greetings

Sure wish you lived in Georgia. I hope you can find someone who needs help. There are farm apprenticeships available all over.
