I'm here at school, but the contractor and dh were supposed to begin framing up the house this morning at 7:00!! I won't get there until around 4:00 this afternoon, so I have no idea what to expect. The plan is to work all weekend, so it should be ready for the roof by the end of the day Sunday. The roof guy will come out & measure for trusses early next week, and there's about a 3-week wait time for the trusses to be built and to arrive on site.

Plus, my son is home this weekend from college, so this is a great weekend all the way around!!

Congratulations, Patti! I still remember the day the truck carrying the trusses came up the hill towards my farmhouse. I even took pictures of the trusses. I was amazed at how HUGE they were! Enjoy every minute of this exciting time!
