Posted - Feb 21 2012 : 7:16:20 PM FINALLY, after a decade of praying, talking & planning, we soon will be DOING! On Friday we will take our first step in getting our house on the market so we can finally move to a bigger house with a little acreage. I've been stuck in this mindset that we need to stay in our current area. Then my best friend suggested we come look out in her area, about 30 minutes away. Wow! What a difference in pricing! Mind you, where we live now is country, lots of farmland. We personally live in town but want to get out of town. Searching for homes in my friend's area, we discovered you get more for your money out there. We already have our eye on two different homes with 5-7 acres and BARNS! Ooh, I love that idea....having a barn! Let the adventure begin.....

Posted - Feb 24 2012 : 11:31:55 AM What do ya know! We're heading to the west coast today- New Buffalo! Just for fun, not to look at property. I'm a country girl at heart but I sure do like poking around in the nautical towns, off our majestic Great Lakes...even in a snow storm! I love Michigan. It has so much to offer. :)
