We have the perk test done, survey and just got our blueprints. Hopefully we are headed to underwriting within two weeks and closing in 3-5 weeks. I never wanted to post pics before because I was afraid I would jinx myself. Here are some lovelies of our forever land. Hope this works.

Congratulations on your new place. It looks wonderful!!

Oh for the simple life: family, quilts, corgi's, horses, homemade everything.

Oh my goodness! How exciting! I guess I'll have to live vicariously through you right now as we're at the very beginning of this journey...selling our house in our small town & getting out to the country with some acreage & maybe even a barn! It all looks so peaceful & beautiful. Congratulations!

Lisa your mom lives a couple miles away. We are right off HWY 22 (next main road over from Westport). We are moving a few miles up the road over the county line.

Thank you ladies for all your well wishes. We are so very, very excited although this house has to be sold as well. The kids love it and (obviously) so do the dogs.

Absolutely beautiful. Your boys will be very lucky to grow up in such beauty with nature all around them.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

What a beautiful place. Are you building or is there a house already? I may have missed this if you already said. I love that creek. And your boys look so happy there. And the dogs do too.

The property is 7 acres on a lovely country lane that dead ends at a century old farmhouse. There are only 6 homes currently and there will be 3 built this year. Still it is huge and open, everyone has acreage but only 4 homes are on the creek (including the 3 being built). Our kids love it there as we do and we are pretty sure the dogs are all in as well.

Sorry I can't convert the pics from png to jpg so I just put the hyperlink. The first link is the front of our house. It is only one floor with a full basement so we don't have stairs later in life.
