This afternoon I decided to walk around my acreage and find some color and interest on an otherwise drab winter day and this is what I came across...what have you found on your farm today?! Please share!

Our girls have lined all their eggs up in a smile today..

A colorful water spigot that stands out all blue and proud..

This green weed is thriving even in the dead of winter..

A little Wren house that looks like it needs a fresh coat of paint..built by my dad, I treasure this little birdhouse..

A little green moss hanging in there..

A bluebird home that is looking a little vacant and lonely..a gift from my husband..they all know how much I LOVE sweet little birdies..

Winter Berries..

Love, love evergreens, they never fail to brighten your winter yard..

Old Glory on the porch flagpole..

I hope you have enjoyed this little walk around my yard on this winter day!! xo And please share in this thread your own pictures, we can have a virtual farm tour today to brighten these winter days!

Since I dont have a farm (maybe someday!), I went around my town and shot some pics. Hope you like them!

Actual grass! Spring is coming ladies!

The brick path that leads to an old wood bridge near my house.

Yes ladies, that is a roughly 6-7" log stuck there. Believe me, I did a double take at that one!

View from the old wood bridge near my house. That log from the pic before is on the right, just out of the shot.

King Chapel, about a block from my house, on the Cornell College campus. My favorite building in town.

Hope you enjoyed a tour of my neck of the woods!

Thanks, girls! xo Yes, a little wren lives in that house during the summer..but I noticed when looking at the picture, the bottom is out of it. Oops, I better look around the area and see if it can be found if not hubby must makes some repairs before spring!

Kristen, thanks so much for the wonderful winter tour around your farm! I loved the wren house that your Dad built and agree it is a treasure! Any wren families claim it each year? It has been so beautiful here in the southeast the past week! Thanks again for sharing.
