I am happy to annouce that the Winner of the My Tiny Farm Open House is Cathy Catherine L!! I will email you now for your mailing address. Thank-you all again for stopping by and joining the fun at My Tiny Farm!

I thought the end of January was a great time for some MJF connection fun, so My Tiny Farm is doing a photo Open House and Giveaway! After you take the tour, just respond on the thread that you want your name placed in the "hat" for the Giveaway from My Tiny Farm's Kitchen. Then, on 1/27/2012 I will put all the names in a hat and choose the winner, which will be posted on this site. The winner can email me and give me her mailing address and I will send the package. So, let's get started.

This thread on the MJF Connection is really for those who actually live on farms or who are in the process of purchasing one. Alas, a real farm is not in my possibilites,so I have created a kitchen with what I imagine to be a real farm kitchen!

The signature of My Tiny Farm is an antique gas stove I purchased in the north Georgia mountains a few years ago. She proudly displays my Mom's spice rack, garlic pottery keeper and the match holder from the home I grew up in in Virginia.

There are farm critters here as well. Please meet Rosie the cow in front of her bright red barn.

Not far away is Birdie, my only chicken on My Tiny Farm. Isn't she so cute?

Sometimes, we get cold weather here in Gainesville, Florida so check out my "wood stove" complete with my Grandmother's stone dog from her porch on a REAL farm in Indiana back in the 1920s-1950s.

So, what do we grow here at My Tiny Farm? Here is my Apple tree and my ladder from last fall's harvest!

And there really is a Satsuma Orange Tree!

Well, that concludes our photo tour. Thank-you so much for stopping by and I hope you will sign up for the Giveaway fun! Thanks for participating with me in this Open House and I hope you will follow My Tiny Farm for more adventures in 2012!

Cathy- Your package is on it's way via Priority Mail. I hope you enjoy and thanks again for participating in the first My Tiny Farm Giveaway. Hmmmm, maybe there should be another?? And by the way, I am not sure yet, BUT, I think the scarecrow is tossing and turning in the storage box and I just bet he is going to want out BEFORE the fall! What do you bet??!! From all the mischief he got into last fall, I can only imagine if he gets out early what will be happening on My Tiny Farm!

Stay Tuned everyone!! I gotta a feeling 2012 is going to be action packed! I can hardly wait!!

Well I'm probably too late for the drawing but I love following My Tiny Farm! Your farm critters look very well cared for! And not a single weed in that apple orchard!

Hi Winnie, Please put my name in the hat. I loved the tour of your Tiny Farm, my favorite is the stone dog from your grandmothers front porch, it tugs at my heart strings of memories from my grandmother, plus I'm from Indiana. Karla

That's so cute Winnie! I am so jealous of your orange tree! If I could grow oranges, I would. I don't think they like northern prairie winters though :p.

Please put me in your hat too!
