Well we finally have all of our things at the farm. We are still trying to find a place to put everything, but overall it has been great! Tala is doing fairly well with the cold weather. I am sure I am feeling more sorry for her than she is for herself.

It is so nice to have a nice, quite household. When we get home, we know we are "done" with the day. No more running errads or running back to work. We get to hang out as a family and then go to bed.

I am hoping that after a few months of knowing us, the land lord will let us get some chickens as long as we promise to take care of them. We also are looking into adopting a cat for mousing.

I am really looking forward to spring. It is going to be absolutely gorgeous!

I'm with Paula - we have nine. ;)

Congrats on the new place, Alee! How wonderful to have your things there and feel like you are settling. I feel like we are "new farm" sisters, having settled around the same time in our new places. Can't wait to see what spring brings for you!

Marly- not yet. We are going to get one when it is a bit warmer out so it can be an indoor/outdoor cat. Plus Nora needs to "earn" it first! I will definitly post name, pics and such when we get it! :)

I like the fact that y'all will be getting a cat. Did you get one yet? When you do, and I know you will, post a picture and tell us the name.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi Alee, glad to hear your moved in, hope you post more pics.
I do hope you get the cluckers, they are funny to watch. Our neighbors down the road they have several, and pretty. He lets them out of the pen for a little while everyday. But they go back in at night. Because of coyotes. But the pen is awesome. Its like a mansion and there isnt anything that could get to them. Also the dogs protect them. Its Hilarious.
