I'm really interested in hearing what hobby farming and "growing your own" is like for farmgirls in other parts of the world.

Actually it would make a FASCINATING feature article in the magazine to hear the scoop from farmgirls in Canada, Mexico, Japan, the UK, etc. (Do they have farmer's markets in Finland?? Can a scottish country farmer legally keep a firearm in the home? What's it like running a dairy in Hokkaido?)

If anyone knows anything about "country living" according to our lifestyle in another country, I'd love to hear about it. What challenges do you face in your "crop"? what challenges do you face in selling what you make? How expensive is fabric?? What is it like to acquire stock for breeding programs?

Or sound off if you're just intensely curious like I am.
