Hi! My family and I have recently moved to Ohio (Cleveland area)from Arizona. Thus far we've had no luck finding vacant land, or a farm to rent or eventually purchase. We've tried Craigs List, driving around, everything we can think of. Do any of you know of anyplace here or in neighboring states to start our farm? Thanks in advance!

I'll check those areas out- thank you! We're holed up here for the winter since family is around the corner and hoping to find some kind of land by spring.

Tracy.
Hi , I'm in Parma but grew up in NW Ohio, you need to go farther west, Wood county and towards Indiana. We farmed in Wood county and my brother farms in the Wauseon area. not much in this area. good luck

Thanks for the place names and for giving me hope that there are farms to be had! My husband grew up here but was gone for several years so a lot of the farms he remembers being around are now subdivisions. We're prepared to move anywhere to find a place to farm, hopefully soon after winter.
