I know I can't afford it right now. Mainly because of the market (selling our current home) and credit issues...but I found this when "dream searching" online.

It's perfect..I started crying when I saw the property and the house. 15 acres with a 4bd/2bath house, plus two barns. What do you girls think?

City-bound for now! Looking for my little piece of heaven...

I'm so glad I found this post and realize I'm not alone. Folks look at me like I'm nuts when I grab the free magazines at the gas station for real estate listings. I love to look at them and have some realty sites on my favorite list. Its just harmless fun.

Pretty place, and nice area, too. We just moved from near there--they have a GREAT county fair!! :)

That was my first thought..."Wow, someplace for my goatsies.." LOL I want someplace where I can have goats and chickens and alpacas. The bank barn would be perfect for my critters and the upper level would be a great wool processing center.
Dangit all. I know if we dip into our 401ks, we could most likely handle the down payment. But I "averaged" a 30yr mortgage. It would be $1500/month and that's an owie.
Funnily enough, if my mom leaves her farm to me..it's very nearly identical. She doesn't have a barn yet, but it's got a pond, small woods, and the house is very nice.
Oh well. :) Dreams are nice. Maybe I can check on it next month and they will have magically lowered the price. lol
