I have been dreaming of running my own small farm that made money and I could really work, for years.
Three years ago, we bought nearly three acres and began our adveture; in the heart of amish country. It really did not do well. Everybody buys more from amish then me. So I began my training into real estate. Which as most of you know is also a slow market right now.
Well, I meet a man lastnight from poland. He lives near my father in law, around Merrillville In [near chicago]. He fell in love with my canned goods, eggs and the option of fresh orangic chicken. He wants to set up a web site for me, and has already begun his, his families and friends; shopping list! They want me to come into that area at least monthly and sell my farm products. Ladies, I do believe the Lord is calling me to my dream!!!!
My mind will not shut off, I need to really take this slow and do it right. But I do so want this dream to come true.
I knew I could share this with all of you and you all would be just as excited as I.
So please post your comments and advice!
I need to hear it all!

God Bless

Angie that is exciting indeed. To be so close to a dream that just might blossom into a self bussiness can be euphoric. Good luck and we will be praying for you here. Keep us posted. AJ

Its so nice when dreams come true. You might check with your county extension office-they may be able to give you info on what you need to get started.

Thanks Sarah! I am soooo excited, trying to find out if I need a USDA license?
I think we will stick with eggs, chickens, goat milk products. But not sure what needs licensed.
Thanks Again
