Posted - May 18 2006 : 2:50:57 PM My husband should not have let me know this but a friend of his has 5+- acres that he needs to sell (he and his wife have gotten into a tight spot). He wants to sell it to us and my husband went with him to look at it earlier this week. He said it's perfect for what we want. So now here I am DYING ... my husband is so busy with work (he owns his own landscaping company) and hasn't had a chance to get by the bank to apply for a loan.
My husband is dreaming with me too ... that is nice. While we are waiting I'm trying to do as much farmgirl stuff as I can. Anyway, I just thought I would share that my dream MAY be closer to reality than I once thought ...

Posted - May 21 2006 : 05:00:36 AM Oh Heather, I wish you well!! My husband and I are going to start looking for land in the near future. It's so expensive where we live now, we will have to look further out. I hope it all works out for you, it sounds like a great opportunity.

Posted - May 19 2006 : 05:45:53 AM Heather, I understand what you're going through. I found my dream farm two weeks ago but my current house is no ways near ready to put on the market. Argh!
Maybe you could stop by the bank and pick up the forms for your husband so he can fill them out in the evening. Just a thought.
