We may have found a house, in a farm, with free water for the garden, a couple of very bid trees and a 2 storey large part of an old house, just renovated. And the funny part is that the landlords are the very same I used to have when I was living there 17 years ago. We will visit it friday morning and if it works out, we might move in the second part of july. The land is open in front of us and they grow wheat and lavender, and it is 5 minutes drive from my parents.
At night we can count the starts since the view is unblocked.
They are fig and quince trees, some rose bushes and I can see myself having some hens.
There is a young couple sharing the building but no one is in the way of the other and they work all week.
I hope this works out, it would be so nice to have a little homestead for the next couple of years.

We are so many on the same lake as Marcy put it. that only means we are redefining our dreams and getting in good gear to go get it.
Thanks to your kind words of encouragement, have a dream day what ever you are doing.

Hi Corinne! You and I are on the same lake (maybe not in the same boat) our dream farm is just four miles away and just when I think we can start on it there is another obstacle. Just remember dreams never die and you and I will both have just what we want!!!

I am so sorry your dream did not come true this time but now that you are reshaping the dream it will be even better. I also wanted to say I love your Dr Wayne Dwyer quote - I am presently listening to his new series "Excuses Begone" and am loving it... Wow, I may have to start considering my dream of land in other countries too. Although I love my farm, my animals and such there is a quite part of my who is whispering in my ear and spirit. I know now that you have a clear picture of that farm it will show itself to you.

Blessings and Choices to you

Thanks for all your kind and uplifting comments. I agree with you Melody, the house finds us. You all who have a farm and talk about it make me dream my share of chickens, large vegetable garden, country fair and farmer markets...
I am in no hurry, God will provide the place when He thinks we are ready.
Have a great and sunny sunday, cannot wait to read about BBB and see pictures.

Brooke is right. Seeing what you don't want helps to define what you really do. You're getting there.
One day you'll find it. And yes, we'll be here to cheer you on every step of the way!

I have always felt that "your home" finds you! Chin up, be patient....she's out there waiting to find you!!

Oh....my daughter will be going to Paris during her Senior year two years from now.... I plan on escorting her and the class as a one of the chaperones. I haven't seen Paris since I was 7.....Has it changed??? Although, I would much rather spend my time roaming the countryside!! Your description of the lavender and wheat fields gave me a beautiful mental picture...OH to see that!

Take care Corinne.

Love

Thanks to all of you for your good wishes and prayers. We went to visit the place today. Sadly it is not for us. The kitchen is as large as a small closet, only one sink goes in it, the stove and fridge would go in another little room behind. No counters, no shelves.
Then, they are 2 rooms but with a different entry, so that is not convenient at all.
Well, it is a piece of my dream that went away to day, but it makes place for a more convenient place with a better layout and a large kitchen. So I am going to shape my new dream the way I want it.
Thanks again for your support, your are kind and generous ladies who always wish me well.

Corinne,

You won't believe this. I just finished saying prayers this morning, and prayed for you and Raymond, then checked the forum because I have been so busy I haven't been on for a while, and WOW, I saw this posting!

Sounds wonderful, and lots to keep you busy!

Thanks Annika, Janice, Sherri, Brooke, Alee, Melody, Merry and Marly, your prayers and good thoughts mean the world to me. We are going to visit the inside of the place day after tomorrow, I will tell you all after that.
Melody, the lavender is in full bloom and the moment and since the farmers here alternate wheat and lavender fields, the colors are just amazing. I will take pictures for you to see. You can come visit any time, it would be SO MUCH fun to have farmgirls visit in France.
Janice, I've seen lots of bees this year, we have had a wet spring and the flowers are large and abundant this year, so hopefully they will prosper int the hives this year.
Hugs to you all.

WOW a farm in France! Where I live now we line up parallel-wise with Provence...that's why my lavender is doing so well here. I dream of one day going to see the lavender fields...When I was little we lived in Germany and traveled to Paris on vacation. I have a few memories of that, but that was long ago! Best of luck and if you need a gardener CHEAP....give me a hollar!!!!

Corinne - that sounds wonderful! I'm going to keep you in my prayers. BTW, Cody called last night and said he had gotten an e-mail from you about Kiska - he said "She's a really nice lady, Mom". Very sweet of you.
