Posted - Nov 11 2008 : 06:24:58 AM Marcie, I just love your sheep! And I had to laugh at your Alcatraz reference to your coop. While finishing up building our new coop, we've jokingly termed the cages we now house the chickens in as 'Cell Blocks' in the Paradise Prison compound. We even have an 'Infirmary', where we place the chickens that are being pecked unmercifully by their other 'cell' mates! In fact, we had an escapee from Cell Block Four just yesterday, and Warden Hootie (our German Shepherd) had to chase her down and hold her until I could get there and put her back in prison!

I love spinning their fleece too - did you know that they where the original downey sheep? They are what stocking, undergarments and baby items where made outof.. I do miss having them so share often pictures so I can see that sweet face.
