It is nice to know that you're not the only one around with a pioneer spirit, one who loves the simple life, getting her hands dirty and feeling good at the end of a hard day's work. Not exactly what one reads about in all the women's magazines out here in the check outs is it? Oh what those women don't know that they're missing.

I'm new here too. I can't wait to have my own success story to share. I've been dreaming of a small farm and market garden for so long. Only 18 more months to go!

I'm just spending some time reading things from the different threads. What great advice!

Another Deb here that feels the same way:) I have just recently gotten my dream of an animal and herb farm and really couldn't be happier. Having these forums I can share and find support from others that will really understand how much a life like this can fill your heart up.

Hi Deb,

I'm pretty new to the forums and I know exactly how you feel. I would say I'm a fellow Jersey girl, but we're moving to PA in a couple of weeks. We currently live outside Philly in Mt. Laurel. Looking forward to getting to know you better!

Hi Deb:
I think that is how we all feel. I surely felt the same thing. It was like an awakening to me. I love this MJ farmgirl site. It is truly like a big sisterhood.
