Posted - Sep 08 2008 : 7:37:46 PM It is nice to know that you're not the only one around with a pioneer spirit, one who loves the simple life, getting her hands dirty and feeling good at the end of a hard day's work. Not exactly what one reads about in all the women's magazines out here in the check outs is it? Oh what those women don't know that they're missing.

Posted - Sep 03 2008 : 05:52:43 AM I'm new here too. I can't wait to have my own success story to share. I've been dreaming of a small farm and market garden for so long. Only 18 more months to go!
I'm just spending some time reading things from the different threads. What great advice!

I'm pretty new to the forums and I know exactly how you feel. I would say I'm a fellow Jersey girl, but we're moving to PA in a couple of weeks. We currently live outside Philly in Mt. Laurel. Looking forward to getting to know you better!
