I don't know if I mentioned it in my introduction or not, but the house we are trying to buy is just up the road from my Mom and Stepdad. The people across the road from Mom (who will be two doors down from us if we are fortunate enough to get our little slice of heaven) are new to country living also. They just got a gaggle of geese and a pony. They are hoping to get a milk cow in the near future. The greatest thing is that they are not only willing, but eager to enter a neighborly relationship with Mom and with us when we move in hopes of sharing/exchanging eggs, milk, produce, etc... We talked about each growing large plots of specific produce (like corn, potatoes, beans) and then sharing three ways. Each house has between six and nine acres and theirs already has a barn and fenced pasture area for the pony and cow. We are hoping to have chickens, goats and rabbits. I am SO EXCITED! It has been a long time since I have prayed so hard for anything in my life.

Hi Kelli in Michigan:
I wish you the best of the best! Keep praying, and ask God to give you the house. Believe in God, and believe in yourself. How wonderful for you. Keep us posted.
Happy days to you.
