Posted - Sep 16 2005 : 4:40:51 PMThis morning here a tragic accident happened involving a tractor. The owner of a local winery and vineyard was killed when the tractor he was using to mow a steep incline rolled and pinned him beneath it. Farm accidents account for 25% of all accidental death here in the US. Please dear farmgirls and guys, read all the safety precautions with your equipment and if possible educate yourself and younger children on tractor and farm safety. Here is a resource: http://www.nsc.org/necas/agtractr.htm

This was just last week. It is scary all that can happen!! they came home with a coloring book and experiences to talk about and seemed to really enjoy it. Several farmers had brought animals to show them and there were several tractors and demos..really neat!! And they had snacks like dairy products.
